Barrel fermented, full ripe, rich, full bodied - this wine is a great example of the harmonious balance which can be achieved between fruit and delicate oak/vanilla flavours. Bursts with dried apricots and pineapple, with a hint of vanilla and some typical Chenin honey notes on the long lasting finish. |

Hand harvested, with careful selection from grapes that have been barrel (9 months French oak, 50 % 2 nd and 3 rd fill barrels) and tank fermented (50 %) and further barrel matured (on secondary lees) for a rounded complexity.
A full bodied, well rounded wine with a complex structure . This wine is a great example of the harmonious balance which can be achieved between fruit and delicate oak/vanilla flavours, as they combine to form complex, soft flavours with sufficient body to enhance even spicy and full flavoured meals. Flavours burst with dried apricots and pineapple, with a hint of vanilla and some typical Chenin honey notes on the long lasting finish.
Can be served with many varied spicy dishes, mild curry, Thai style food and full flavoured fish or chicken dishes. |
