Situated 1 km from Ken Forrester Vineyards and named simply after the founding year designating good fortune, 96 Winery Road is owned and managed by Ken's brother, Alan Forrester and jointly owned by Ken, top wine maker Martin Meinert and renowned Chef Natasha Harris. From the start it has been their goal to delight each guest with a superb, warm, relaxing venue set in the heart of the glorious Helderberg countryside. Using only fresh organic and where possible local ingredients to prepare the dishes 96 is inspired by South African favorites and flavours! Wine plays a major role in the partners lives with wine and food pairings and homely business tastings becoming a daily ritual or simply an excuse to mix work with pleasure!!
